Check key not present in a JMS map message

Postby waclaw » 06 Oct 2012, 22:21

Hi

I'm curious if a following check could be performed with Opensphere. I would like to assert in the Message Compare component, that a JMS map message doesn't have specific key defined. I tried to obtain this effect with 'empty' operator but I get an error:

Code: Select all

  node /jmsMessage/jmsBody/mapEntry[@name='b']/text() not found

thanks for help

Unfortunately the current version of Opensphere does not allow for such comparison rule. We however agree that such functionality is required for certain use cases. Therefore in the upcoming Opensphere release 2.5.2 we'll provide a new comparison function that asserts that a message element does not exist.

All message fields of the compared messages must be identical with the message fields of the reference message. This applies to the field names, the field IDs (if any), the values and the message structure.
